My Yahoo? Have an account with Yahoo? Want to know how to make Yahoo account? The fact about my Yahoo is, that you will have one terabytes of storage space for free that is one thousand gigabytes. In this page, I’ll be explaining on how I managed to make my Yahoo account and how I manage to sign in to my Yahoo account. With my Yahoo account I have access to all the services provided by Yahoo, like Tumblr, Flickr etc. – so can you.
Here’s how I created my Yahoo account?
- First of all, to try all the steps you’ll have open a new window, where you can try as you read this page and also follow the direction. To open a new window, you can use keyboard shortcut keys.
- CTRL+N – for Windows OS
- COMMAND+N for Mac OS
- Try re-arranging this window and your new window side-by-side. By doing so you’ll be able to see both the windows.
- Now, on your new-window type-in: YAHOO.COM and press enter or return and let the page load.
- When you’ll have Yahoo homepage you’ll see on the top right corner of the page where it written ‘Sign in’ click on it and let the page load again.
- When you get to another page where you’ll see Yahoo sign in under that same column below you’ll see a link in blue font written ‘Sign up’. Click on it to make your own my yahoo account.

In this page, you’ll have enter your details like:
- Your First Name and your Last Name
- Email address name – which you would like to make with yahoo.
For example: tomandjerry @ yahoo.com - Password – for you’re my yahoo new account.
- Mobile number – for verification
- Your Birthdate and
- Gender – This you can leave it empty if you don’t want to.
- After filling up my Yahoo new account form; click on ‘Continue’.
- Next step, you’ll have to verify your mobile number and you get two options.
- Via SMS text or
- Via Phone Call
My suggestion for you would be via SMS.
- Check you mobile device for SMS from Yahoo with the verification code. Enter the code and click on ‘Verify’. If you didn’t receive any you can click on ‘Re-send’ link to get the code again.
- Done, this is how I made my yahoo new account. Click on the link where it is written ‘Let’s get started’.
- One last thing, you must do before you enter your yahoo mailbox. Yahoo will ask you to setup your contacts. If you have any other account with GOOGLE, HOTMAIL or FACEBOOK you can import all your contact to your new my Yahoo account. If you don’t want to, you can click on ‘Skip Setup’ and do it later.
How to do – My Yahoo account sign in – how too?
- First of all, you have your new my yahoo account created. You’ll now need to sign in –now or any other time. For this you can try it in new window and for that you’ll can use keyboard shortcut keys like:
- CTRL+N – for Windows OS
- COMMAND+N for Mac OS
- Rearrange new window and this window side-by-side fitting your screen, so that you can see the steps and try out at the same time on your new window.
- To do the my Yahoo sign in – you’ll have to type-in any of the links mentioned below
- mail.yahoo.com
- rocketmail.com
- ymail.com
press enter / return and let the page load.
- On the page, you will have to enter your yahoo email address that you created earlier.
NOTE: Remember always if you are using your personal computer or device you may let it be “the correction mark with correction on the section “Stay signed in” else always unmark the correction when you are using public or someone else computer or device to sign in to your Yahoo account.
Now, click on ‘Next’ to continue to next page. - You will get welcome with Hello and your username under that you’ll have to enter your password to your; ‘my Yahoo account’. If by any chance, you have forgotten your password you can recovery it by clicking on ‘Forgot password?’ link that is under the blue ‘Sign in’ link.
