The Yahoo Mail is a free email service provided to everyone by Yahoo Company. It was created back in 1995, January 18^th. This is an American based multinational technology company by Jerry and David.

‘Yet Another Hierarchically Organized Oracle’ is the full form of YAHOO. Yahoo used to be one of the best search engines even before Google, and still is.

The Yahoo Mail is THE E-mail service by Yahoo, which offers unlimited storage for anyone and it’s FREE.

With the Yahoo Mail ID and account you cannot only have an e-mail service but also many products like Yahoo 360°, Flickr, Tumblr, Yahoo Messenger etc.

So, how to make/create the Yahoo Mail ID?

Go to login.yahoo.com on your any web-browser or even the same one but make you open a new window to do it. You can do that by using shortcut keys like ‘Ctrl + N’ (Windows OS) or ‘Command + N’ (MAC OS)
or just click on the above link with the Shift Key pressed doing that you’ll have new window and the page also gets loaded.
Once you have the page loaded that would look like the image below. Try looking at the right corner of the Sign In Box where you’ll see ‘Sign up’, simple click on that.
After that you’ll get the form in which you‘ll have to enter your details;
- First is your First Name and Last Name; you don’t have to add your Middle Name.
- Followed by name you would like have as your email id.
- Further you’ll have to add up the password for The Yahoo Mail.
- Adding your mobile phone number with country code is a must because with this Yahoo will send you a verification code. So make sure you enter the right one.
- Your Birth date; as it shows you first is your Birth Month, Day and lastly Year.
- Gender is an optional chose, if you want to add you may other wise you can just leave the field empty.
- All done now just click on the blue rectangular link where it shows ‘Continue’.

Right after that you’ll have to verify your account via code which you can get it via a phone call or SMS to your mobile that you had entered earlier. You may choose any according to your preference.
After getting your verification code now you can enter that code like shown in the image below and click on ‘Verify’
There you go, Congratulation you have now successfully manage to create THE YAHOO MAIL ID or we can also call it Account ID. Click on ‘lets get started’ to go to your mailbox.
While doing so THE YAHOO Mail will give you an option just before you enter your mailbox that is if you would like to import your contact from Facebook, Google Contacts & Hotmail. If you don’t have or you would not like too simply click on ‘Skip setup’ and you are done.
